2 Way Radio

Ok, shot in the dark here (2 way radio question)…?
Has anyone who has direct TV seen that commercial on the NFL network or other channels for a radio (2-way, I believe) that can supposedly get reception all over the nation? It was only $25, from what I remember.
I was just wondering if anyone can tell me the name of the radio or company so I can call the info line?

there is no two way radio that can get nationwide reception…the farthest 2 way radio i’ve ever seen could supposedly reach up to 30 miles…but this is only over water.
on land, the farthest you could reach would be about 5 miles without any interference (trees, buildings etc.)
maybe it was boost?
